Short Biography

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy across multiple states. I am DBT-LBC certified and trained in exposure-based interventions, EMDR and SPACE with a strong focus on treating anxiety, OCD, emotion dysregulation, and trauma-related concerns. My clinical work integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy, behavioral principles, and family systems approaches, with an emphasis on practical skill-building and meaningful change. In addition to direct clinical work, I serve as a consultant and presenter with Behavioral Tech, supporting the dissemination and implementation of DBT in clinical settings. I am committed to helping individuals and families build lives that feel more effective, connected, and aligned with their values.

Therapy Philosophy

My therapy philosophy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes through both insight and action. I often return to the idea that “the best way out is always through”—that growth involves moving toward, rather than away from, what feels difficult. I also believe that knowing is not enough; we must apply, and that change does not happen through understanding alone but through consistent practice and real-world experience. In that same spirit, doing is most effective when it is intentional, values-driven, and supported by awareness. In therapy, I focus on helping clients translate insight into action, build practical skills, and develop the willingness to stay present with discomfort in the service of long-term change. The goal is not to eliminate struggle, but to move through it in a way that creates a more effective, meaningful, and connected life.
