Short Biography

I'm a 2nd generation Korean American Gestalt therapist who specializes in working with teens and adults, adult children of immigrant parents, relational/attachment trauma, ambiguous grief, and life transitions. If you often tend to think about life existentially, we'd probably be a good fit. In my spare time, I like to go to boxing/kickboxing classes, listen to music, write, cuddle with my cat, and eat. Food is life.

Therapy Philosophy

I believe in liberating oneself from the confines of society and using self-awareness as an anchor to align with one's authenticity, not fall victim to oppression and oppressive systems, and choose thriving over surviving in life. I believe that healing comes from connection: being in relation to one another, seeing and hearing one another, and as a result, feeling less alone in life.
