Short Biography

I'm a neurodiversity-affirming psychotherapist specializing in individual and relationship therapy. My mission is to help people live more fulfilling lives. I'm also an autistic/ADHD psychologist working with neurodivergent folks across the lifespan to provide affirming support and gentle healing. I work as a generalist in psychology because I believe that humans are complex, each and every one of us.

Therapy Philosophy

I think that marginalization and trauma is a shared experience that many of us have but don't talk about enough. I hope that we do eventually talk about it, with a sharp focus on healing and transformation. I believe in giving respect to fellow humans, and at the same time, holding the heavy responsibility of keeping each other accountable. Humans are meaning-making creatures, and our job is to honor that existence fully. I don't try to engage you in changing your natural processes, such as the brain or the neurotype you were born with. My practical nature makes it unsavory to spend time on doing what does not work. And I believe that all healing requires creativity and courage. I think that we hold hope for each other and find it easier to grow when someone sees us and our struggle fully. I believe in relating to you as a human first, then bringing in tools to help support and structure your life in a way that feels good and important to you. My goal is to always tailor these tools to your needs, which requires much calibration and collaboration with you. I act as your accountability partner at times, and acknowledge that which cannot be changed at other times. I incorporate historical narratives to better contextualize what is present now. And sometimes, I simply accompany you as you tackle what is difficult and challenging to do. I aim to be neurodivergent-affirming, anti-ableist, trans-affirming, sex-positive, anti-racist, justice-oriented, and culturally humble. As a Chinese (South East Asian) immigrant, I love supporting Asians!
