Jelwyn Agbayani
BIPOC IdentifyingLicensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Gender Identity: female
Short Biography
Kumusta, I'm Jelwyn! I am an antiracist, LGBTQ+-allied, and culturally responsive therapist with no shame in sharing who I voted for because mental health IS political. Both my professional clinical experience supporting a variety of populations at every level of mental healthcare and my personal lived experience as a first-generation Filipino-American inform my practice.
Therapy Philosophy
My goal in therapy is to support clients in identifying and achieving their own goals in ways that work for them. When clients have an understanding of what matters to them, the "work" that we do together becomes meaningful and more manageable.
