Short Biography

Melina is a bilingual clinician and depth-oriented psychologist passionate about bridging language, culture, and psyche in therapeutic practice. Born and raised in Ecuador, she earned her degrees in San Francisco, CA, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Melina integrates depth psychology, relational psychoanalysis, and cross-cultural perspectives. Her work invites clinicians to experience Spanish not just as a language, but as a living expression of identity, emotion, and connection.

Therapy Philosophy

I offer a depth-oriented, relational approach to therapy that honors both the emotional and symbolic layers of experience. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, meaning, and the underlying processes shaping their inner and outer lives. Drawing from depth psychology, cultural awareness, and a holistic perspective, therapy becomes a space to slow down, reflect, and engage more authentically with oneself. Las palabras son puertas, and we open new doors in every encounter.
