Short Biography

Hi! I'm Amanda a Mental Health Counselor who believes that therapy should feel like a space where you can truly be yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and women who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and the many changes that come with growing into who you are. As a Dominican/Latinx counselor, I understand the importance of feeling seen and understood within the context of your culture, family, and personal experiences. I take a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, meeting you where you are while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and comfortable taking your journey one step at a time.

Therapy Philosophy

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you should feel heard, respected, and empowered to be yourself. I meet each client where they are and create a warm, judgment-free space to explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is not to tell you who to be, but to support you in discovering what feels right for you and building the confidence to move forward.

Special Training & Certifications

I gained my certification as a Women's Mental Health Specialist.
